We God This ("we," "us," or "our") operates weGodthis.org. This page explains what information we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and how it's handled. We've tried to write this in plain language rather than dense legal text — if anything here is unclear, email us at hello@weGodthis.org and we'll clarify.
Prayer Request form. If you submit a prayer request, we collect whatever you choose to enter: your name (optional), your email (optional, only used if you've asked for a reply), your request itself, and whether you'd like your name kept private within our small prayer team. This information is submitted directly to us and is never posted publicly, never shared outside the people who pray over requests, and never used for marketing.
Contact form. If you use the Contact page, we collect your name, email, an optional subject line, and your message — used solely to respond to you.
Apparel orders. Ordering a shirt, bag, or sticker opens a pre-filled email in your own email app, addressed to us. Nothing is collected or stored by our website in this process — it's simply a normal email you choose to send, the same as emailing us directly.
Sharing a devotion. The "Share This Devotion" button uses your device's own share function or email app. We never see or store any email address, sender or recipient, involved in that action — the entire interaction happens on your device.
Donations. Donations are processed entirely by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We never see, receive, or store your card number or full payment details — Stripe handles that directly. We may see basic information about the donation itself (such as the amount and, if you choose to provide it during checkout, your name or email) through our Stripe account.
Browsing the site generally. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall traffic to this site — things like which pages are visited and how many people come each day. This tool does not use cookies, does not collect your name, email, or IP address, and cannot identify you individually. It only measures aggregate, anonymous usage patterns. We do not use any other tracking, advertising, or analytics tools beyond this.
We use the information described above only for the specific purpose you provided it: to pray for a request, to respond to a message, to fulfill a custom order, or to process a donation. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, for any reason.
Running this site relies on a small number of outside services, each governed by their own privacy practices:
We retain form submissions (Prayer Request, Contact) only as long as reasonably needed to respond to you or to continue praying over a request. You may ask us to delete any information you've submitted at any time — see "Your Rights," below.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. While some of our published books are written for children, they are intended to be read with a parent or guardian, and no part of this website is designed to collect information from a child directly. If we become aware that a child has submitted personal information to us, we will delete it.
Regardless of where you're located, you may contact us at any time to ask what information we have about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. If you're located in a region with specific data protection laws (such as the EU's GDPR or California's CCPA), those rights apply to you as well. To make any request, email hello@weGodthis.org.
We may update this policy from time to time as the site changes. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
